在正式开篇之前，我们先做一个小测验，看看下面这些题大家是不是都能做对。
The school is on Bay Street（正确）The school is at Bay Street (错误）They live at 10 Park Road (正确）They live in 10 Park Road (错误）The museum is in the city (正确）The museum is on the city (错误)不知道大家的选择是怎样，反正小编错误率非常高。这些介词是我们口语或者书写都会遇到的，想要区分开真的是让English learner 非常头疼的。还有很多其他介词，by, with, for , over ，under ，of ，to 。 介词通常在一个句子里表示时间（time），地点（locaiton），方向（direction）
在这一篇里，小编着重和大家说一下，使用频率非常高的四个介词：on ，in ，at
我们会把重点放在，怎样使用这些介词来表示地点或者方位。其实在英语中，并没有一个明确的规则来描述这些词的用法，很多时候，在一个场景下，语法规则允许的情况下，很多个介词都可以互相替换。但是可能不同介词就会使句子含义完全改变。
例如：Am I at the car ？强调汽车所在的地点，相对位置可以是站在车旁边。
Am I in the car ?通常指坐在车里。
Am i on the car ?相对位置是在车顶上（汽车外部）
所有的句子都是正确的，只不过不同的介词表达的位置就不同了。
这样的介词非常多，我们不能每次都通过猜想来确定具体的方位，这对英语提高没有帮助，我们需要把介词放进一个语境里去学习，放进语境去学习可以帮我们减少错误。
例如：
In the morning
At night
It depends on..
He"s keen on football
In
要理解 in 所表达的方位，可以简要记一下，in就是within，或者 inside the edges of sth。 小编相信，用英语短语来解释会更好理解这个词的含义。

介词 on 通常用来表示物体之间的相对方位。通常是在表面，surfaces

They live at 14,Eagle Road.I"ll meet you at the corner of beach Street and Park Road.4. at 用在eventsWe met at a partyhe"s speaking at the conferece later this week.我们现在总结一下，at是一维的，具体的一个点在空间里，on更像是2维，表示平面上的某个点。in 更像三维的，完全包围住的感觉。
