考研英语作文一定要背模板吗？不一定，如果你基础很好，完全不用模板，或者可以自己形成一篇适合自己的“模板”，如果你基础不好又时间紧张，那最好的方式就是背诵万能模板和高分句型，为避免雷同，可以进行句型替换。
英语(一)大作文模板有2篇，分为消极反面类(通常是社会现象类)和积极正面类(通常是人生态度类)。图画上是坏事就用消极类模板(注：只要图画含有负面信息，就可选用消极类模板)，图画上是好事就用积极类模板。【为什么分消极（社会现象类）和积极（人生态度类），因为从历年考研英语作文命题规律可以得出】所有翻译均采用意译，而非直译，所以会有部分地方，英文和翻译不能完全一一对应。
