除了 “I love eating in restaurants.”
1. although / even though
1) Although
句型:Although some people…, I prefer…
套用这个句式,我们就能把 “I love eating in restaurants.
Although some people love eating at home, I prefer eating at a restaurant.
Although some people prefer cats, I prefer dogs.
Although some people prefer waking up early, I prefer waking up late.
或 prefer to do sth.
2) Even though
句型:Even though some people…, I prefer…
Even though some people love going to beaches, I’d rather go skiing.
Although/ Even though some people prefer cats, but I prefer dogs. (误)
Although/ Even though some people prefer cats, I prefer dogs.
Although/ Even though +
如:Although/Even though Canada(主语1) is (动词1)a good country,(逗号,勿省略) Canada(主语2) has(动词2) problems.
2.despite/ nevertheless/ however
1) Despite ____, I prefer ______.
Despite the advantages of living in the country, I prefer living in the city.
Despite the night life, I prefer to live in the country.
2) _____, nevertheless, ______.
Some people like living in the city, nevertheless, I like living in the countryside.
Some people like playing computer games, nevertheless, I like reading books.
Some people love their politicians, nevertheless, I find politicians are not always honest.
3) _____, however, _______.
Some people like movies, however, I don’t./ I prefer books.
