【简析】本题考查的是如何将从句改为短语结构的用法。当主从句主语一致时，如果要把从句改为短语，可以去掉主语，然后把谓语部分的动词改为分词形式。如果谓语部分是被动结构，则可以改为being done或having been done的形式。

一、课文原文
Lesson 70 Red for danger
During a bullfight, a drunk suddenly wandered into the middle of the ring. The crowd began to shout, but the drunk was unaware of the danger. The bull was busy with the matador at the time, but it suddenly caught sight of the drunk who was shouting rude remarks and waving a red cap. Apparently sensitive to criticism, the bull forgot all about the matador and charged at the drunk. The crowd suddenly grew quiet. The drunk, however, seemed quite sure of himself. When the bull got close to him, he clumsily stepped aside to let it pass. The crowd broke into cheers and the drunk bowed. By this time, however, three men had come into the ring and they quickly dragged the drunk to safety. Even the bull seemed to feel sorry for him, for it looked on sympathetically until the drunk was out of the way before once more turning its attention to the matador.

二、重点句型或语法
本课主要学习的是介词的用法，侧重学习的是“形容词+介词”的搭配用法，本课所列的常见介词有：
（一）for
与for搭配的常用形容词有：
eager, enough, famous, fit, qualified, ready, responsible, sorry, sufficient
如：
When my own son was five years old, I became eager for another baby.
我家儿子5岁的时候，我特别想再要一个孩子。
He takes the view that children are responsible for their own actions.
他的观点是孩子应对自己的行为负责。
（二）with
与with搭配的常用形容词有：
angry, busy, consistent, content, familiar, patient, popular
如：
New goals are not always consistent with the existing policies.
新目标并不总是与现行政策一致。
She is not only talented but immensely popular with her colleagues.
她不仅才华横溢，而且深受同事的喜爱。
（三）of
与of搭配的常用形容词有：
afraid, aware, capable, certain, conscious, envious, fond, guilty, ignorant, independent, short, shy, worth
如：
The larger firm was capable of providing a better range of services.
较大的公司能够提供一系列更好的服务。
Students should aim to become more independent of their teachers.
学生应该努力逐渐减少对老师的依赖。
（四）to
与to搭配的常用形容词有：
close, contrary, cruel, equal, faithful, fatal, identical, indifferent, inferior, liable, previous, sensitive, similar
如：
The smell is very familiar to everyone who lives near a bakery.
住在面包店附近的人都很熟悉这种气味。
The animals are very sensitive to disturbance and have never bred in captivity.
这些动物对外界的干扰很敏感，且从未被圈养过。
（五）at
与at搭配的常用形容词有：
bad, clever, efficient, expert, good, indignant, quick, slow, skillful
如：
People said that she was very clever at music and was a very nice girl.
人们说她有音乐天赋，是位好姑娘。
She was very indignant at the way she had been treated.
她对于自己受到的待遇大为光火。
（六）from / in / on / about
与from搭配的常用形容词有：
away, different, far, safe
与in搭配的常用形容词有：
deficient, fortunate, honest, weak
与on搭配的常用形容词有：
dependent, intent, keen
与about搭配的常用形容词有：
curious, doubtful, enthusiastic, reluctant, right, uneasy
如：
They aimed to make the country safe from terrorist attacks.
他们力图使国家免遭恐怖分子的袭击。
He"s been weak in health since childhood.
他起小儿身体就不好。
We are not very keen on floral patterns and fussy designs.
我们不是很喜欢花卉图案和过于繁琐的设计。
Don"t be too curious about things you are not supposed to know.
