好像，似乎，看来;感到好像，觉得似乎;看来好像
用来表示“推断，表示不确定，或者缓和语气，客气”
1. seem后常常跟（to be）形容词，名词等：
You seem very silent today; what"s the matter?
你今天看起来很沉默，怎么了？
She did not seem at all afraid.
她似乎一点也不害怕。
The children always seem to be hungry.
孩子们似乎总是饿。
Life seemed on a sudden empty and meaningless.
生活突然变得空虚而毫无意义。
The trip seemed rather boring for a young boy.
对一个小男孩来说，这次旅行似乎很无聊。
He did not seem at all interested in the subject.
他似乎对这个问题一点也不感兴趣。
There seem to be fewer tourists around this year.
今年的游客似乎少了。
You don"t seem quite yourself today.
你今天看起来不太自在。
2. seem后也常常跟动词不定式to do：
I can"t seem to get warm.
我好像暖和不起来。
Women seem to find him attractive.
女人们似乎觉得他很有魅力。
注意：这种结构里，否定句是don’t seem不是seem not to do。
Politics does not seem to interest him at all.
他对政治似乎一点也不感兴趣。
He didn"t seem to mind public opinion in the least.
他似乎一点也不介意舆论。
The noise doesn"t seem to worry them.
噪音似乎不让他们担心。
3. seem to have done用来表达发生在过去的事。
The tickets seem to have got lost.
票好像丢了。
She seems to have accumulated a lot of books.
她好像已经买了很多书。
The teacher didn"t seem to have done much preparation for the class.
老师似乎没有为上课做太多准备。
4. seem to be doing表达正在发生的的事。
The brakes don"t seem to be working properly.
刹车好像失灵了。
We seem to be straying from the main theme of the debate.
我们似乎偏离了辩论的主题。

Parts of California seem like paradise to me.
在我看来，加利福尼亚的部分地区像是天堂。
Moving house seemed like the sensible thing to do.
搬家似乎是明智之举。
It seemed like an exciting adventure to me.
对我来说这似乎是一次激动人心的冒险。
2. It seems that ……
It seems that the disease is now under control.
看来这种疾病现在已得到控制。
It seems that we have missed our chance.
看来我们错过了机会。
It seems that we are not welcome here.
看来我们在这里不受欢迎。
It seems to me that you are letting things get you down.
在我看来，你是在自暴自弃。
3. seem likely
It seems likely that he will win the match.
他似乎有可能赢得这场比赛。
It seems likely that there will be less workers needed.
似乎将来需要的工人会更少。
Men seems more likely to die from coronavirus than women.
男性似乎比女性更容易死于冠状病毒。
4. It seems as if
It seems as if you are the first one here.
好像你是第一个到这的。
It seems as if it is going to rain.
好像要下雨了。
It seems as if nothing happened.
好像什么都没发生。
It seemed as if there was no way out.
好像没有办法了。
It seems as if the end of the world had come.
好像世界末日来了。
